A two-time champion is back: Welcome home, Duván Vergara!

After three years in Mexican football, Duván Vergara returns to the place where he was happiest and where he was fundamental in securing two league titles for América de Cali's trophy cabinet.

Vergara lived his first stage in America between 2019 and 2021, where he played 70 games with the Scarlet skin and won the love of the fans for his great talent and his charisma.

The Montería native made his debut with the Reds on July 25, 2019, against Patriotas de Boyacá at the Pascual Guerrero Stadium. He scored his first goal for América on August 17 of the same year against Águilas Doradas at the Sanfernandino Stadium.

As a key player for the team and after making history with the Scarlet team, Duván Vergara was signed by Monterrey of Mexico, where he played between 2021 and 2023. His last club was Santos Laguna, a team where he played 31 matches in total.

After 37 months, the Colombian winger returns to the five-time Colombian champion to contribute his unpredictability, speed and goals in search of new titles for the Valle del Cauca team.
