With the launch of our América de Cali App in July, we've added exclusive sections, games, galleries, and the ability for fans to create their own content. We'll also have the option to choose the 'Scarlet of the Month' through a points system based on actions taken within the app.
Each month, we will award the top five (5) positions in the fan ranking, but only one of them will be chosen as the 'Scarlet of the Month'.
How does the points system work?
Fans earn points by uploading photos, videos, comments, or by interacting with content from other users or the club.
Photos, videos, and comments are NOT published immediately; they are awaiting approval. moderator .
Once the photos or videos are approved, the user receives +50 points for each approved photo or video, with a maximum of +100 points per group of images or videos.
In other words, if a person uploads 10 photos or videos at the same time and they are all approved, they will only receive 100 points; they will not earn points for all the photos or videos in that group.
Conversely, if a user uploads two (2) photos (or videos), waits for the content to be approved, and then uploads two (2) more photos (or videos), they will have received +100 points for each group of images, that is: 200 points.
Each approved comment gives you +1 point. If you make more than three (3) comments in one (1) minute, you will receive a warning and will have to wait before you can continue commenting.
Avoid uploading all your photos at once; administrators approve content daily. If you upload two (2) photos daily, or two (2) in the morning and two (2) at night, we guarantee you'll maximize your points.
For comments we recommend: do not generate spam, do not copy and paste the same message several times and do not make more than three (3) comments per minute.

What type of content is approved and what content is not approved?
Comments that are approved:
Messages of encouragement, constructive criticism, questions for other fans, interesting facts, content suggestions, positive comments on other users' content, respectful discussions.
Comments that are not approved:
Comments repeated several times with the same phrase, single-letter comments, vulgar language, insults or inappropriate words, comments with information unrelated to América de Cali such as the sale of external products or promotions, nonsensical comments, etc. Defamatory, inappropriate, abusive, sexually explicit, racially offensive, obscene, religious, or otherwise objectionable or offensive comments towards third parties.
Photos and videos that are approved:
Photos or videos taken by users at the stadium, murals, administrative and sports headquarters, etc.
Photos or videos of users wearing team apparel or using official merchandise.
Self-referential photos or videos of a user supporting from home, that is, a photo where the TV is visible, the user is also visible (NOTE: without showing logos of win or something like that (i.e., user photos, not just of the TV with the image).
Photos or videos with historical content or related to the club's history and accompanied by relevant information.
Photos and videos that are NOT approved:
Photos or videos downloaded from the internet, from Club América's social media, content that has Club América watermarks, content copied from other users passing off someone else's content as your own.
Videos unrelated to Club América, such as family videos, news, jokes, or content that does not refer to the team.
Videos with inappropriate content or vocabulary (violence, nudity, sexual or offensive towards a person or group of people).
Repetitive videos that are very similar to each other and from the same user.
The América de Cali app is an application designed to create a community around our beloved team, where each fan has the opportunity to generate their own content and interact with that of others.
At the end of the month, we'll publish the final fan ranking and award the top five in the "Scarlet of the Month" list. Each week you'll find new content such as stories, galleries, news, games, polls, podcasts, trivia, and/or downloadable content.
For our contests where we give away tickets to matches, it is not valid to win with multiple users at the same time, as the aim is for several fans to be able to attend the stadium and enjoy the match.
