Rafael Carrascal returns to Independiente

Midfielder Rafael Carrascal returns to América de Cali for his second stint with the team, coming from Cerro Porteño.

Carrascal began his professional career in 2012 with Alianza Petrolera, where he was a key player in winning the Primera B title. He later played for Millonarios and Deportes Tolima, also winning league titles with the latter. His first stint with América de Cali was successful, culminating in league titles in 2019 and 2020.

In his most recent stint with Cerro Porteño, he played 14 games, 11 of them as a starter, with an average of 63 minutes per game.
