"We know they're a very tough team that's strong at home with their fans, and we know the quality of players they have. We have to build on the things we did well against Boyacá Chicó. We need to improve our concentration on set pieces because we struggled with that," said the striker.
The player also spoke about the individual aspects he still needs to improve this season: "I'm feeling better and more confident, but I still need to improve a lot in attack, to regain the composure I had last year."
For his part, the strategist analyzed what this match against the Medellín team will be like:
"Independiente Medellín is a team that moves the ball well into the opposing penalty area. Last semester they had 17 penalties in their favor, and today they have 4. We will have to be very focused in that area. They are very active on the second ball, they move the ball easily into the area, and they work set pieces well," he explained.
