This Monday, under the technical direction of Jorge Da Silva, the entire squad of América de Cali trained again at the Palmeiras Sports Complex where details were adjusted for tomorrow's match against Corinthians.
Prior to the match, our player Yerson Candelo , with a past in Brazilian football, gave some statements regarding what will be this commitment valid for the 4th date of the group stage of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana.
“Corinthians is a great team in South America, I think it has great individual players, we are focused on doing our own thing, on putting our football at the service of the team, each one in his position, being compact so that he can give his best, overcome them and take the three points,” he stated.
The Brazilian team recently underwent a coaching change, and our player shared his thoughts on this: “I think that even with the coaching change, Corinthians has a well-established style of play. I believe they are a team that plays very good football, and it's going to be a great match. We have a strong squad, and it will be crucial to play our game. We'll be facing a team that will keep the ball on the ground, and we do the same. I think the team that makes fewer mistakes and is more clinical will win. It's going to be a very difficult match, and we hope to minimize risks and be effective,” he concluded.
The match will be at 9:30 pm (local time), 7:30 pm Colombian time.
