Four players from our youth academy are part of the Scarlet Preseason

América de Cali began its 2025 preseason training camp last Friday, January 3rd. The players arrived at the Cascajal Sports Complex to prepare for the sporting challenges they will face this year.

Four players from our Youth Academy are part of this Pre-season under the technical direction of strategist Jorge Da Silva (left to right):

Joel Sebastián Romero Hurtado: Born on September 1, 2006, in Arauca. He describes himself as a fast midfielder with good ball control. He has been part of our youth academy since 2023.

Jhon Tilman Palacios Moreno : Born on August 2, 2005, in the municipality of Carmen del Darién. He describes himself as a fast and agile attacker.

José Antonio Cavadía Pedraza: Born on September 21, 2005, in Santa Marta, Magdalena. He describes himself as a midfielder with good ball control, technical skill, dynamism, and intensity when attacking and recovering the ball. He has been with our club for a year.

Sebastián Quiñones Betancourt: Born on August 1, 2006 in Guapí, Cauca. He describes himself as a technical, aggressive, and strong center back in 1v1 situations. He has been part of our youth academy for four years, starting with the U-15 team.

As part of their preseason training , América will play two friendly matches in Bogotá against Melgar and Millonarios. Afterwards, they will continue their preparations for the 2025 season at the Cascajal Sports Complex.
