Five players from our Youth Academy are part of the Scarlet Preseason

Club América Women began their 2025 preseason on Wednesday, January 8th. The players arrived at the Cascajal Sports Complex to undergo the necessary medical examinations to begin their preparations for the sporting challenges they will face this year.

Five players from our Youth Categories are part of this Preseason under the technical direction of strategist John Tierradentro (left to right):

Sara Ximena Caicedo Sinisterra : Born on November 16, 2006, in Cali, Valle del Cauca. She is a winger and describes herself as a fast, skillful player with both feet and a good dribble. Sara dreams of playing for Barcelona.

Juliana Noguera Rodríguez: Born on July 9, 2006, in La Sierra, Cauca. She plays as a defensive midfielder or central midfielder. She describes herself as a straightforward player with good ball recovery skills. Juli dreams of scoring many goals in 2025.

Saray Marín Areiza: Born on January 26, 2007, in Jamundí, Valle del Cauca. She describes herself as an intelligent goalkeeper, powerful on high shots, strong on penalties and in 1v1 situations. Saray dreams of winning a championship with América de Cali, playing in a Copa Libertadores, and a Women's World Cup.

Catalina Cortés Roldan: Born on May 27, 2006, in Cali, Valle del Cauca. She plays as a winger and describes herself as a fast, agile player with a good shot. Cata dreams of making her professional debut in 2025.

Luisa María Beltrán Triana: Born on June 26, 2007, in Cali, Valle del Cauca. She plays as a center back and describes herself as a player with excellent vision, technical skill, and a strong aerial game. Luisa dreams of playing in a World Cup in Colombia, winning the championship, and playing in Europe.
