“The results in recent matches haven't been the best, but they've helped us understand what we need to improve. We know we're facing a team that has won every single match; they're practically the only team that has only lost one game. I know their coach, I know their players, but I also know my own team, and I know we'll have to go out and take control of the game from the opening minutes,” the coach said.
For her part, the striker, who previously played for the opposing team, also spoke about this match: “I am proud of my team. We have had difficult moments, but I trust in what we have and we know that we will go for it all and give it our all in this match.”
The match between Escarlatas and Azucareras will be at 3:00 pm at the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium.
