This Tuesday, July 1st, the players arrived at the Cascajal Sports Complex to begin preparation work for the challenges of the second half of 2025.
Our physical trainer , Alejandro Blasco, referred to these first days of training.
“I found a team that was very eager and willing to work. The first two days were dedicated to adaptation, and then we started working on strength, always on the field with the ball. I believe that footballers should always work in that context without losing sight of the physical conditioning we need to work on. The idea is to gradually increase the workload and then decrease it, so we arrive in the best possible shape to face our upcoming matches,” he stated.
Regarding the integration of physical work with the technical idea, he said: “Our coaching staff has a method where the physical aspect is always worked on, prioritizing the values we need to achieve, but the tactical part is always present; we seek to generate habits and respect the idea of the game.”
It is worth remembering that Blasco was a physical trainer at Boca Juniors, at Argentinos Juniors and was a technical assistant at Estudiantes de la Plata, among other clubs.
On the other hand, our first reinforcement Jhon Murillo referred to his arrival to the team: “I am a fast, intense player, who fights for every ball, every game, I really like to help the team offensively as well as defensively.
The team will continue training in double sessions to get ready to face the different challenges in the CONMEBOL Sudamericana, Cup and in the League.
