Colombian striker Rodrigo Rivas is América de Cali's newest signing. The native of Bajo Baudó, Chocó, signed his contract with the Red Devils and has joined up with coach César Farías to prepare for the remaining matches of the 2024-I BetPlay League.
Rivas, 26, arrives from Gyeongnam FC of South Korea. The striker will experience Colombian football for the first time after playing in Europe for Doxa Katokopias (Cyprus), Anagennisi Deryneia (Cyprus), Rudes (Croatia), San Ignacio (Spain), Deportivo Alaves (Spain), El Ejido (Spain), and Marino. He also played for three Ecuadorian clubs: Técnico Universitario, Universidad Católica, and Orense.
The player will be registered after April 1st when the free agent window opens.
