Preview: América hosts Envigado on matchday 13 of the 2025-II BetPlay League

This Sunday, September 28, América de Cali hosts Envigado at the Pascual Guerrero stadium in the match corresponding to the 13th round of the BetPlay League 2025-II.

Regarding this match, our technical director David González and player Joel Graterol spoke to the media at our Cascajal Sports Complex.

“The balance of these three weeks has been very positive, where we have tried to enhance the positive things that this team had; we have even improved in positions, we have been more dangerous,” said the strategist.

“Envigado is an intense team due to its youth; they run and close down spaces for 90 minutes. They are a fast team that can surprise you if you're caught out of position. As for weaknesses, it's not the time to discuss them now. From our perspective, we need to help our players understand what situations hurt them,” González analyzed.

For his part, our goalkeeper also spoke, referring to this match against the Medellín team:

“With coach Ricardo Andrade, we train in a very efficient way because we study the opponent, the potential attackers, to counter their strengths. We are responsible for putting that work into practice on the field on game day. Analyzing the opponent has been a constant, and I think that's a strength as a team,” Graterol stated.

The match between América de Cali and Envigado will be played around 2:00 pm
