Jhon Tierradentro was assistant coach of América Femenino where he achieved a championship in 2019, a third place in the Copa Libertadores and runner-up in 2020 in the Libertadores.
His professional career also includes his time as a technical assistant at Deportivo Cali Femenino, where he won an Idolas Cup and was a semi-finalist in a Copa Libertadores.
He had his first experience as a head coach at Universitario de Deportes in Peru, his most recent team. The manager also coached the Under-13, Under-15, and Under-23 teams at América de Cali.
Tierradentro was chosen as the best coach in Women's Football at the gala ceremony of the 2023 Professional Football League of Peru.
As a player, he played for clubs in Peru, Bolivia, and Colombia. Wearing the Scarlet jersey, he won three titles: 1996-97, 2001, and 2002.
Tierradentro returns to our institution to lead our professional women's team in achieving our sporting goals for 2025. Harold Viáfara continues as assistant coach and Mario Alberto Janer will be the physical trainer.
Janer was part of the staff of the Colombian women's national team from the Under-17 level to the senior team, between 2012 and 2019.
