Andrés Tello is América de Cali's newest signing

Midfielder Andrés Felipe Tello Muñoz was born on September 6, 1996, in Medellín, Antioquia. He joins from Unione Sportiva Salernitana of Italy's Serie B.


The player's career highlights include his debut with Envigado in 2014. He then moved to Juventus, becoming the first South American player to be transferred to Europe and the first Colombian to be signed by the popular Turin club. He also played for Cagliari, Empoli, Bari, and Benevento.

Tello has experience with Colombian national teams: with the Under-20 team, he played in the Toulon Tournament in 2014. He later played in the South American Under-20 Championship in 2015, held in Uruguay. He was also part of the Colombian squad that competed in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.

The midfielder passed his medical exams and is ready to train under the technical direction of Gabriel Raimondi.
