Club América Women debuted with a resounding victory at Pascual Guerrero Stadium

At about 4:00 pm the ball rolled at Pascual Guerrero to kick off our team's first home game in the Betplay Dimayor Women's League 2025.

The goals came very early in the match. In the 6th minute, María Fernanda Agudelo delivered a masterful pass to Joemar Guarecuco, who, with an advantage in his run, finished with his right foot to score the first goal of the afternoon. The stands erupted in celebration of the first goal at Pascual Guerrero Stadium and Joemar's first goal since returning to América de Cali.

Then, in the 20th minute, on a clearance by the opposing goalkeeper , Mariana Muñoz stole the ball, passed to Joemar , who then assisted Elexa , who scored a fantastic left-footed goal that increased the lead. This is how the first half ended at the Sanfernandino stadium.

When the game was in its final minutes, again in a mistake in the exit of the opponents, our team stole the ball and Francelis Graterol , with a header managed to send the ball into the back of the net after an error by the opposing goalkeeper.

Thus, the team managed by John Tierradentro defeated Alianza 3-0. In their next match, the Red Devils will visit Millonarios at El Campín.
