América de Cali faces La Equidad for matchday 15 of the 2025-II BetPlay League

This Saturday, October 11, América de Cali hosts La Equidad at the Pascual Guerrero Stadium to play matchday 15 of the BetPlay League 2025-II.

Our strategist David González spoke about this match against the insurance company team:

“It’s time to start breaking paradigms, to start breaking records if we want to achieve our goal, to fight and qualify. We have to win the match, we have to beat La Equidad. A coaching change always brings about a change; they came from a very rigid structure. Their new coach will change some things, but I don’t think too many given the short time. We’ll be prepared to face whatever defensive system they come up with and look for ways to find advantages.”

Regarding players Omar Bertel and Jorge Soto , González stated: “Soto suffered a minor muscle strain in Barranquilla and is fit to play. Bertel had no muscle injury, so he will also be available.”

The match will begin around 7:30 pm at the Sanfernandino.
