América de Cali completed its fifth day of preseason training under head coach Jorge “Polilla” Da Silva . The team continues its preparations with double training sessions at the Cascajal Sports Complex , focused on facing the sporting challenges of 2025.
"We're very eager, as always, even though we have a small squad because we haven't finalized it yet. There's a lot of excitement, knowing that this semester will be crucial. We've given the new players a warm welcome, conveying to them the importance of wearing this jersey and the great responsibility that comes with being part of América," said Da Silva.
Regarding the start of the work, the coach commented: "The first days of preseason were for evaluation and introduction, analyzing the state of the squad and, little by little, intensifying the pace of training."

Players in recovery:
Joel Graterol, Luis David Quintero and Felipe Riascos are under the supervision of the medical department, progressing in their respective recovery phases.
The team will remain in training camp from Monday, January 6th to Thursday, January 9th, with their minds set on the upcoming commitments of the Scarlet Preseason.
